I am a certified holistic health coach, yoga instructor and birth doula living in Marin, CA serving the Bay Area. Personal growth and transformation have been an integral part of my life since I was young. I spent a good part of my childhood in ashrams with my parents meditating, doing yoga, chanting and absorbing wisdom from Swami Satchidananda, Gurumayi Chidvilasananda and Ammmachi.

For the past 10 years I've been healing from the inside out – coming back to my roots through the study and practice of traditional and holistic healing modalities, including meditation, yoga, chanting, yogic breathing and integrative nutrition (whole foods, vitamins, teas, herbs) I have also embraced the healing powers of dance, practices of love and acceptance, and rekindling my relationship with the sacred feminine through self-care, ceremony, song, prayer and time in the natural world.

The Institute for Integrative Nutrition

I was raised eating healthy foods on a macrobiotic diet and quickly learned the powerful healing qualities of food – I also learned that eating health food isn't enough to be a whole, healthy person. I learned it's vital to also consider our relationships, career, spirituality and creativity and how they factor into our overall wellbeing. With a passion in wellness, I studied at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition to have the tools to guide myself and others towards health and happiness.

Art of Living Foundation

When I was in my early 20s I longed for a daily meditation practice but nothing I tried stuck, until Art of Living came into my life. I was living in New York and a friend suggested I go to a course. I learned a very powerful breathing technique called Sudarshan Kriya that changed my life. For the past 8 years I've studied closely with the founder of the organization Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, and practiced and taught these techniques in Philly, NY and California. I continue to deepen in my study of this Vedic linage by going into silence for 4 days twice a year, taking courses, practicing the techniques daily and reading the ancient texts. I'm so deeply grateful for these gifts.

Birth Arts International & Mama Tree

My mother gave birth to me at home with the assistance of her doula and midwife. It was a beautiful experience for both and was the seed for a deep and sacred bond between them which continues to grow even more beautiful over the years. This inspired me to become a birth doula through Birth Arts International. I also completed my 45-hour prenatal yoga teacher training with Mama Tree with Jane Austin in San Francisco.

Nosara Yoga Institute

I received my 200-Hour interdisciplinary yoga teacher training and 100-hour Let Your Yoga Dance teacher training certification through the Nosara Yoga Institute in Costa Rica. I also completed my 45-hour prenatal yoga teacher training through Mama Tree with Jane Austin. I am incredible grateful to my teachers Don and Amba who provided a nurturing environment for me to blossom and grow in new ways through their emphasis on experiential learning and encouragement to look to my own inner wisdom. Their approach to yoga is one of self-inquiry and discovery, and I find myself continuously growing through this daily practice.
